On a boring Saturday, I went to VivoCity for the 2nd time with Jie and Ken. The sun wasn't out, didn't manage to swim at her place in the morning. 3.30pm at the GV Box Office, we queued for super long, only to find that there were only front rows available for the 7.10pm show so we quit it and went shopping instead. That's why I always insist on doing prior booking on Fridays and weekends cos Singapore is so damn bloody small and everyone has nothing else to do but watch movies.
Jie was so upset that she couldn't watch a movie at Vivo so we headed to Great World City GV Grand and got seats, real good ones in fact! If she wasn't so insistent on watching 'Night at the Museum', I think I would be really resigned to the fact I have to be disappointed by circumstances at least twice before I can finally watch a movie. The show was a total blast! Love it, love funny Ben Stiller!!
While Ken shopped at Challenger, Jie and I went shopping and cam whoring!! Right outside the shopping centre.
Ken says I don't resemble Jie so much anymore. I think I look like the elder sister now. Doesn't matter if we look like each other because God brought us together by blood :)
I was complaining to Jie that every picture I look like my mother and I will delete and retake delete and retake delete and retake until I'm satisfied and don't look like mother. Am I really growing and looking much older with time???????????????? OMG.
And my favourite Hong Kong Cafe for dinner (my lunch sucked, finished barely 1/4 of my noodles)! Warning: The favourite Mango Snow Ice should be shared by at least 5 people, cos it's super big. 3 of us didn't even finish it without having a brain freeze!!

Ah the year is coming to an end, and I dread that school is going to commence. I wish I had more time to spend with my family and friends. I can see the eyes bags sinking deeper below my eyes and the dark areas becoming blacker around my eye sockets. OMG. And I can also forsee LTB being a big cause of this phenomenon. I won't be able to do so much collages and blog so frequently. I won't be able to idle on my bed as much and talk so long on the phone. I won't be able to think of the sad things so often - finally something positive.
God will share my burdens, he will slowly take the load off my tired shoulders as I slowly fall gently in his grace. Some burdens can never be completedly abandoned and forgotten, and my heart cannot be compared to that of God. I will never forgive him for the horrible past.

I can't wait to write all about my Boxing Day / Post Christmas party but a good amount of the photos are still in Perryn's camera. I've done up some collages on just the fabulous, delectable, delicious food but I don't wanna spill the good stuff without completing all my collages which requires all the photos. Meanwhile, here's a teeny weeny bit of sneak preview of our hearty meal.
For a dinner prepared by a bunch of crazy people we do pretty well right!
The Christmas present exchange - my mystery person was Pris!! And her mystery person was me!!! YEAH!! I believe this is all fated.....hahahahaha....Her present for me?? The gold bangle I've always wanted from Mini Bits! I already suspected when Bern told me not to buy it because she believed I could find a better one - yeah right you were referring to Pris’ bangle for me.

My giving to my mystery person aka Prissie? A pretty waist belt made of red lace and a silver buckle with black crystals.

Broken Jigsaw
Friday, December 29, 2006

I always come across this certain jigsaw puzzle when I clean my room. And I've always put it back where it was, not deciding when to frame it up, or find the missing pieces. Until a thick layer of dust collected over it, I still, did not do anything about it.
A 500 piece jigsaw puzzle. You would know why I bought it in the first place. Because of Disney Princess. I purchased a pink coloured frame along with it, but the protective plastic sheet broke so I couldn't frame it the minute the puzzle was completed. So I left the puzzle on top of my bookshelf for months.
But today, I made a decision. I took the puzzle off the shelf and thought hard for a long time. I decided to throw it away.
He was supposed to do the puzzle with it, but he didn't. Not because he didn't want to, but because we didn't have a chance to. I embarked on it first and completed within a day. He was supposed to buy a new frame for it, but he didn't. And I simply refused to shop for the frame alone because I felt strongly that we should buy it together since we didn't manage to do the puzzle. With the missing pieces, I just didn't have the heart to frame an unperfect jigsaw picture. People don't frame jigsaw puzzles with missing pieces.
Moreover, our relationship is nearwhere perferct, in fact, non-existent anymore. Why should I cling on to the past when he does not even blink an eye and look back?
A tribute to the painstakingly completed Disney Princess puzzle.

My share of fun at Mustafa Shopping Centre from 2.30am to 5am? The pictures speak for themselves.

22nd December, 8pm - Baghdad Cafe. Look who went!!

At Coffee Club someone's growing wisdom tooth made her mood take a huge plunge.

Girl! I hope the pain will go away with time, just bear with it! Have been through it, Cyn's been through WORSE, lolx!

A random shot taken by Pam. Bern and Per's faces quite funny lei.

And my dear Perryn, always medding with her earrings and necklaces. Just like me. BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!! But I'll never get caught on camera man! I hope Pear, Zech and Yerron are having a good time in Bangkok! I miss Per and Zech very much.

Baghdad Cafe - Per' church musical. Peanuts, Pris, Xiu and I went to attend this very much anticipated musical! And my mother, sis and bro-in-law came along as well! When I arrived the latest, everyone made fun of me :-(
And I don't know why but I was very restless during the musical, perhaps because I was too excited to have my friends and family with me! Nonetheless I enjoyed the musical thoroughly! The singing was great, the cast was fabulous, the story was meaningful, Rhordan Rocks man! Rhordan was the director and writer of the entire musical. Really admire him man. To come up with the plot, script and songs and get the thang going in less than 2 weeks!! Amazing. Praise God.
Chilled at Coffee Club with the gang, along with Pamela and Leroy. I never made my folks laughed so hard these months. Thanks to Bern leaking out about my infamous 3 Bears song and supermarket blunder! Didn't feel like I had enough fun so Per Zech and I went to Mustafa to play. I mean, really play. You shall see later why.
On Christmas we went over to Jie's house for dinner!! I helped to make beef brisket, which, unfortunately, did not turn out very well. The cookie did not turn out to be a cookie but more like burnt bread, and the beef stew was just not nice. My sister was hoping a wonder of the beef brisket because she bought it in U.S. and the picture looked really really special and delicious.
Kanasai.
Look at the yucky Beef Brisket. It's cookie (which is almost like bread) on top on beef stew with beef cubes and chopped vegetables.
My favourite dish was the mashed potatoes mixed with corn canapes! My sister insisted it was the worst of all but I beg to differ! The salad, chicken and knuckle were bought from the supermarket; only the mashed potato and beef brisket were made at home.
My mummy brought a mini Mango log cake. $10.50 from NTUC Fairprice. I wasn't expecting it to be tasty at all, but it was quite nice actually, for the price you pay!
We ate it with Swensen's Peach Mango ice-cream! YUMMY YUMMY YUMMY YUMMY YUMMY!!
St. Paul's Church at Kovan - Prissie's Haven!! My diva starred as Mother Mary in the church's Christmas play. Awesome, her singing, I tell you. You got to hear it for yourself.

Before Per and Zech came. And I was glad to have dear Peanuts beside me throughout the whole service.

As usual we had our chill-out sessions. Pris' heels broke and her bro drove us to her place to take another pair of shoes then we ate at East Coast Park. Will do the photos once I grab everything from Per's camera. Hint: there was a lot of cleavage-talk.

My vanity table!! Which is not really a table because it's just the top of my chest of drawers. Jie bought the chest from IKEA for me. Speaking of which, most of the items on this 'table' are presents from Jie. The "Princess" music box, Angel's Innocent, Head over Heels, and the latest, my VERY VERY funky accessory stand. Do you know where is it?

Ta-dang!!! Jie's Christmas present to me this year. Last year she gave me the "Princess" music box. Jie say the figurine will topple as I have too much accessories. I think she was referring to the necklaces. My CD rack is blocking access to my new accessory stand so I got to get my Dad to re-attach the rack. So I just put a few stuff on my pretty stand first.

And my Jie got me a part II pressie as well! A pretty pretty handphone stand! Reminds me of Cinderella's glass shoe, and it has lovely lace at the sides! Jie say it will add to the 'princessy' look of my vanity table. YEAH!!!!! Thank you Jie Jie!!

This year, God gave me a special present for Christmas. I found my long-lost friend from church, Magdalene Qiu!! We were really good friends in Sunday School but lost contact after she attended another church. We were in primary school then. I was so sad and I wrote several letters to her. She is Jason's girlfriend!! Jason showed her some photos of his polytechnic friends, Mag found me familiar, they exchanged some words, and realised I am the same Athena they know!! I'm so happy to have found her, and I'm even more delighted to know two of my good friends are a pair!! YEAH!!!
The world can be so damn small, I know. And to think I've been looking at Jason's display pic on MSN a few time without realising that girl is a friend I was once so attached to. Mag said she still has the letters I wrote to her! So touched!!! I can't believe I wrote such cheesy sentences when I was young, quite funny when she typed in MSN what I had written to her. Now no need letter liao, we use SMS and MSN. Hahahaha! Told this to Per and Bern immediately! Hope I can attend church with Magdalense soon and re-live the old time - except that we're so much older and not so chubby anymore. Hee.

When one yearns to look out of the window to see pretty flowers and hear blue birds chirping, the scenery in front of the girl is only a grey sky, black clouds over which numerous crows fight till their death. The people working at the field do not care about her misery whatsoever. I call it my lonely window.
When she closes her lids, the blooded memories rushes through her nerves, veins, arteries, and a force surges to her head. Like a plastic doll, ever lifeless, with her companions of stuffed toys, she falls into a death slumber.

Just got my birthday photos from Per yesterday. There was a previous entry with some photos about my birthday celebration, but here are more juicy pictures. And I mean, REALLY JUICY.
Bern was eyeing at both of the cakes the whole time!! Everyone at the table could attest to that! See her longing face.................
Bern felt that the chocolate cake was too plain and she decided to carve my name on it. So ugly. Again, everyone at the table could attest to that. See. I thought the cake was better off being what it originally was.
The cake was so thick and loaded with banana chunks that it proved quite a feat to cut it into slices. Kenny did the honours, thank you Kenny!!
See how chocolatey and creamy it is!! Delicious!! The cake was huge, as I have mentioned. Bern was apparently very amused by its size and texture during the entire meal.

As usual, we have our fair share of scandals each and every outing. Making out, french kissing, food feeding, boob grabbing, you name it, we have probably done it or will experiment with it very soon.

I made all the girls feed me cake. Damn I think I looked like I was doing several b***jobs with their spoons! Bad move to suggest that, so don't ever do that.

At BFD at East Coast Park, we fooled with the camera. Presenting our first photo strip, The Nose Shit Chain. (p.s. we put a lot of effort in posing for the pics)

I'm sure all of you are delighted with this production. Remembered Bern had to do a forfeit because she lost at our group games? She had to sing a birthday song for me with the live band.
Per was taking the pictures with bright flashes, caused Bern to blink a few times, while Zech and I sat in front of the stage being happy audiences. I love you Peanuts!!

I could never thank my folks enough for what they did on my birthday. For every tear drop from my eyes, my folks replaced them with chests of smiles and joy.
My darling Per. We were doing the models-wannabes thing.
Ah I'm so done with my birthday pictures and collages. I have a lot more, but too lazy to rename or resize or resave or reorganise. Folks, just grab everything from my photobucket account!!
