The usual Monday lunches. Zech came along as well!!

After the 2 office ladies returned to work, the 2 struggling students and 1 army boy headed to Ben & Jerry's to EAT ICE-CREAM!!! Each of us chose a flavour for the Sundae Mix.
Zech - New York Super Fudge Chocolate
Bern - Strawberry Cheesecake
Me - Dublin Mudslide
Thank you for the treat Zech!! It's gonna be Swensen's next time. I realise, my eye bags and dark eye rings are swinging out of control. I'm really sad la. And I really have an 'Olive' figure. Why can't I have a 'Betty Boop' figure.
LTB lesson was fun because of my dear Garden Monkeys! I kept making lame jokes and bimbo comments, Preston kept sniggering and Shi Ying kept giggling. Sek Chian was sitting too far from us and he has always been SIAN la. Shi Jia was looking really bored. Regina was very attentive in class! Later Preston, Shiing and I started doodling on Shiing's tablet PC, while trying not to get caught by Prof. My LTB prof is very strict and professional in her teaching, if she finds out we've been playing in her class she'll murder us till we cry, I tell ya. Anyway, we started a horrid story about dog shit. Preston tried to get back at me by creating a lame Chinese story about me making out with XXX XXX in a park. STUPID PRESTON.
Now, today, Tuesday Jan 23rd 2007. I seldom say I have a really bad day with bouts of bad luck, but today, I can really say I did. And I had a superbly bad one as well. As usual, MUACK MUACK PAPA CAME TO MY RESCUE!! Love Papa to bits, he's the bestie!!

While showering, I accidentally cut my leg with the Venus blade. And I didn't just cut any part of my leg, I cut a wound! I was happily sliding the blade up, when the blade suddenly bumped over something (my wound) and slided to the left. It didn't hurt, but the new wound (over the old wound) kept bleeding. Even after splashing running water down the wound, it refused to stop bleeding. I was in a rush, so I just stuffed a tissue over the wound once I was out of the bathroom.

When I stepped out of the house, feeling very irritated with a heavy bag, a thick Business Law textbook and a damned laptop, I rushed up the stairs to the life landing. Instinctively, I looked down at my shoes. I always do that because I'm afraid the stair steps will dirty the head of my shoes and if they do dirty I wanna clean or rub them off on the spot. But this time, I saw blood. SPLATTERED ALL ACROSS MY RIGHT FEET AND ANKLE. With 3 fresh splatters because I ran up one step. I started to curse at my bad luck, and clumpsily grabbed tissue from my bag to wipe the blood.

THE BLOOD COULDN'T BE WIPED. I cursed more. Because when I wore my shoes I was positive I didn't see any blood. I had to go back to the house, fumbling with my housekeys and textbook and laptop, run to the toilet, and use soap and water to SCRUB off all the splattered blood. And my wound kept bleeding.

I couldn't care less, went to my room, and stuffed tissue on my wound to stop the bleeding. IT JUST, WOULDN'T STOP. Fine. I had no time. I opened my drawers, trying to find a proper plaster. NO PROPER PLASTERS. Only the very tiny ones and the very big ones were left. SO I RELUCTANTLY OPENED MY DISNEY PRINCESS HANDIPLAST. The biggest plaster was also quite tiny. I took a Snow White plaster and randomly pasted it over my wound.

Rushed through the mad crowd at Tampines Mall, queued at the ATM, went up to Popular level 3 to buy a letter set, bumped into Wei Wei and chatted for 2 minutes, rushed to the MRT station. I was relieved when I finally sat down in the train, took out my Biz Law weekly outline to read while being plugged into my fave music.

And. THE TRAIN STOPPED AT BEDOK. Lights were suddenly switched off in the train, and the train doors were left open. The train personnel made an announcement that there was a train stuck at Eunos and there would be a long delay before the train service would resume. They also said we had to take other forms of transport and no train service was available. HOW FRIGGIN SUEH CAN I GET, TELL ME. So everyone, everyone, like a huge group of honey bees, proceeded down the platform and got out of the station. The faregates were open, we didn't need to scan our ez-link cards. I WAS GOING TO BE LATE FOR SCHOOL, AGAIN.

I called Daddy and asked him to fetch me to school from Bedok MRT. Everyone, everyone was flagging wildy for a cab. How can I compete with them when I'm so clumpsy with a heavy bag, a thick Business Law textbook and a damned laptop. On top of that, blisters had formed on my feet. ARGGHHHHHHHHH!! WHAT'S WRONG WITH THE DAY MAN! I have worn this shoes for 3 hour shopping trips, nothing's happened, and now, not even an hour has passed I have BLISTERS!!

Luckily Daddy was in the vicinity and came in 10 minutes. I was only late for school for about 15 mins. So pai seh lor! I always come late for Biz Law! As I walked past the professor, I stopped, bowed and apologised in a meek voice for being late. AND GUESS WHAT. He ignored me. Because he didn't hear me. AND SOME OF MY CLASSMATES LAUGHED AT ME. I think Lester, Aaron, Yu Ping, Sian Kim and Regina were some of the culprits. Lolx.

My bad luck didn't just end here. Slightly later. When I was switching on my laptop, the laptop wire detached from the main wire. So my laptop blacked out. When I switched it on again, it took 10 minutes to start up, and hanged. HANGED ON ME. I only managed to get my computer started and running after 1 hour into the lesson. Marvellous I didn't slam my laptop on the table or something. My bad luck ended about here, hehe. YEAH!!!!

My prof is so nice he doesn't lay down rules that forbid us to use our laptops during class. If not I'll be, totally bored to death. Business Law is a really detestable subject, if you ask me. FRIG CONSIDERATION FORBEARANCE TO SUE ADDITIONAL CONTRACTUAL DUTY. FRIG ALL OF THEM, PLEASE.

Prof is such a nice guy! Totally sweet. I apologised to him for being late in class, and he gave me a wide smile reassuring me that 'Oh it's ok, no problem at all'. SO CHARMING!! And he really took the effort to explain to me what forbearance to sue was all about. Difficult to really concentrate on what he is actually saying, cos Prof looks so cute! My prof is not a stinking old man with white hair and a grumpy face, he is only 35 but looks 28 (to me lah), charismatic and pleasant, and has a cute ass!! Seriously! I think he enjoys wearing tight fitting clothes. And you know he carries a square Camper bag to class! Yes, with smart office wear. So funny right!

Daddy fetched me home from Lavender MRT and the rest of the night was ok. I miss Jie a lot, I've been faithfully logging online every night, but she's not online. Jie must be busy sight-seeing, making roadtrips, reading the map while Ken drives, wearing nice winter clothes and taking losta pictures. Does Jie think of me so much too?? I'm very lonely when Jie is not around, I can't go out with her and Ken on the weekends now that they're out of SG. Come back quick so we can discuss about your wedding, I wanna be part of the planning!!

It's 1.35am. Supposed to be researching for my Communications project, but I can't concentrate. That's why I'm blogging. I have too much on my mind these past months. Tomorrow I've got a long day. FA lesson from 830 - 1145, Comms meeting from 1.30 - 3.30, LTB meeting from 5.00 - 8.00. I can't even bring myself to breathe in all of that.

But I look forward to Thursday! Cos I'm going to meet Ren Bing. I guess, we may have parted in a tearful way, but I want the parting to be amicable. God teaches us to forgive and forget those who have harmed us, and instead, love and embrace them. Still, I like him very much, I wish I can do lovely things to make him laugh and smile again, but someone is already doing the job.

I will never know the cost of my sin on the cross you carry, Holy Father. I cry every night, but Lord, it is only through you then I can seek comfort and solace.

it's Wednesday, January 24, 2007 now
